Kevin “Dronelord” Hall writes melodic yet bitter guitar passages about food, sexual frustration, and the occasional psychotic episode. He also likes stuffed animals, flowers, hugs, and legos. In the midst of nursing a drink he remarks: “My guitar wants to be friends with you and yet kill you at the same time.”Charlie Manion’s driving, fuzzy bass riffs lend a grounding foundation to the band’s sound. “I try to balance playing aggressively with giving Kevin plenty of room to breathe,” he grins self assuredly. His overconfidence is baffling, especially for a bass player.Lauri “Don’t call me DJ teacup” Reponen leads the sonic assault with his violent, angular, yet sensual drum playing. He likes to go surfing in Maui and watch Disney Movies. Willy Wanker in Her Chocolate Factory is among his favorites.
